Union Minister Suresh Prabhu today inaugurated the biggest exhibition “Aahar 2019”, an international food and hospitality fair that showcases newest trends in food and beverage industry, hospitality, culinary technology, food processing, cold storage, retail and new innovations.
The 2019 edition of Aahar, is on from March 12 and 16 and will feature a wide range of food products, machinery, food and beverages equipment, hospitality and kitchen solutions, kitchen décor, confectionary items from over 900 participants from India and abroad.
According to the available data, countries such as China, Canada, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherland, Norway, Oman, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, Taiwan, USA, the UK, the UAE and Vietnam are taking part in the grand show.
The occasion will also offer an insight into the current operational and food safety concerns and latest innovations to conserve energy and efficiently manage it. The event will give opportunity for traders and manufacturers a window to procure best raw materials for boosting productivity while still aiming for greater profitability.
Exclusive seminars on the topic – “The ‘Culinary Art India” will discuss potentialities, possibilities and products to enable India emerging as leading global player in organic food products and “Role of Indian corporate sector in supporting enormous potential of MSME involved in food processing” are among added discussions for theexhibitors, participants and delegates.
