4700BC Appoints Sreejit Nair as CEO; Founder Chirag Gupta to Lead Growth Strategy

Direct-to-consumer (D2C) snacking brand 4700BC has appointed Sreejit Madhavan Nair as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with founder Chirag Gupta shifting his focus to special projects and innovation. The leadership transition aims to accelerate the brand’s growth, targeting a 45-50% year-on-year increase to achieve Rs 500 crore in revenue within three years.

Gupta shared that he will concentrate on product innovation and scaling efforts to drive the company’s expansion from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore. He emphasized the need for the right team and mindset to build a large organization and expedite the next phase of growth.

Nair, before joining 4700BC, served as CEO of Costa Coffee and has held key positions at PepsiCo, P&G, and Raw Pressery. Expressing enthusiasm about his new role, Nair highlighted the strong foundation built by Gupta and the immense potential for expansion, particularly in premium categories such as salty snacks and confectioneries.

Founded in 2013, the PVR-backed startup currently operates at a revenue run rate of approximately Rs 120 crore. With the new leadership in place, 4700BC is focused on scaling its business and tapping into larger addressable markets to achieve its ambitious growth targets.
