Gopal’s 56, a name synonymous with high-quality ice cream and a rapidly growing diversified food and beverage company is set to expand and hopes to establish a pan-India presence in the next years.
Gopal’s 56, which began as a modest juice and ice cream stall in New Delhi in the mid-1980s, is searching for state-by-state master franchisees to considerably expand its presence and operations. The company currently operates five stores, four in Delhi and one in Rishikesh, and serves more than 100 embassies through points of sale.
“We are planning to open new locations that will be both company-owned and company-operated, as well as franchisee-owned and franchise-operated. We are searching for master franchisees in each state so that we can swiftly increase our presence,” said Gaurav Goyal, Director of Gopal’s 56 and a second-generation entrepreneur.
In 2001, Gaurav joined Gopal’s 56, which was created by his father, Late Shri Dinesh Chand Goyal, and mother, Late Smt. Rajni Devi Goyal. He took over Gopal’s 56 after his father died, and he is spearheading the firm’s evolution from a modest ice cream manufacturer to a diversified food and beverage company.
Gopal’s 56, which is already a well-known brand in Delhi, has experienced rapid growth in recent years, and Gaurav now wants to take the company to the next level.
While plans to expand within the country are being developed, a worldwide expansion is also in the works. Gopal’s 56 Inc. is preparing to launch active-infused ice creams over the world.
“The active infused ice creams contain dietary fibre, pre and probiotic enzymes, and are a healthier alternative to traditional ice cream.” These ice creams also have additional characteristics. “We intend to launch this in the international market by April 2022,” Gaurav said.
Gopal’s 56 ice cream flavours are all vegetarian and oil-free. Aside from the standard flavours, the brand also produces ice cream in unique flavours such as Charanamrit and Paan Gopal. It also provides a variety of healthy ice creams containing Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Curcumin, Brahmi, and other compounds widely utilized in traditional medicine, as well as a variety of health advantages.
