Wonderchef, a leading kitchen appliance maker, has announced plans to invest $10 million over the next two years to expand its presence in global markets, including the US and Canada. The company aims to surpass Rs. 1,000 crores in brand sales by 2026, building on its impressive 25% year-on-year growth, which saw sales reach Rs. 700 crores in the fiscal year 2024.
Ravi Saxena, founder and CEO of Wonderchef, shared insights into the company’s strategy. He revealed that approximately $1 million of the investment will be allocated to enhance manufacturing capabilities and branding efforts. Currently, Wonderchef operates four manufacturing units in India, producing a range of products such as Nutri-Blend appliances, fans, and mixer grinders. The planned investment will increase production capacity across these units to meet growing demand.
As part of its expansion strategy, Wonderchef plans to open 50 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) across India within the next two years. This follows the recent launch of its largest EBO in India at Gaur City Mall, Greater Noida. The company also aims to expand its presence in multi-brand stores and modern trade outlets, targeting 30,000 multi-brand stores and 4,000 modern trade stores over the next two years.
Innovation remains a key focus for Wonderchef, as exemplified by the recent launch of Chef Magic, an all-in-one kitchen robot. “We are excited to bring cutting-edge products like Chef Magic closer to consumers across the globe,” said Saxena.
Established in 2009 by Ravi Saxena and Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Wonderchef currently has a presence in over 15 countries and continues to expand its global footprint.
