Reliance Consumer Expands Campa Cola to UAE in Partnership with Agthia

Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has launched its iconic soft drink brand, Campa Cola, in the United Arab Emirates. The expansion, announced at Gulfood 2025, marks RCPL’s first foray into the UAE market and is being carried out in collaboration with Agthia Group, a leading food and beverage company in the region.

The launch aims to tap into both local consumers and the substantial Indian expatriate community, leveraging Agthia’s strong distribution network. According to RCPL, this move reaffirms its long-term commitment to the region and aligns with its broader strategy of delivering high-quality, affordable products to global markets.

Reliance Consumer Products entered the soft drink segment after acquiring Campa Cola in 2022, reintroducing the brand in India in 2023. The brand, originally launched over 50 years ago, has been positioned as a nostalgic yet contemporary beverage choice.

Agthia Group CEO Alan Smith highlighted the brand’s deep-rooted nostalgia among Indian consumers and expressed confidence in its appeal to both expatriates and local consumers. He emphasized that Agthia’s robust distribution capabilities would help reintroduce Campa Cola to a new generation in the UAE.

Agthia Group PJSC, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a diversified portfolio spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s economy.

With this launch, RCPL aims to strengthen its presence in international markets while capitalizing on the growing demand for nostalgic Indian brands among global consumers.
