Lotte Wellfood Launches 4D Korean-Inspired Ice Cream ‘Krunch’ in India

Riding the Korean Wave, Lotte Wellfood has launched Lotte Krunch — a 4-layered, Korean-inspired ice cream bar — in India. Priced at ₹60 for an 80ml bar, Krunch is available in three variants: Yogurt Berry, Choco Berry, and Choco Vanilla, across metros and mini-metros.

Designed to deliver a “4D” experience — crunchy, creamy, chocolatey, and fruity — Krunch fuses playful K-culture with Lotte’s trusted product excellence. Crafted with Korean technology, it features a crushed cookie topping, a rich sauce center, creamy ice cream, and a chocolate coating.

Krunch marks a significant innovation for India’s ice cream category and signals Lotte’s ambition to diversify and strengthen its presence, following major investment in its Pune facility.

Komal Anand, managing director, Havmor Ice Cream, said, “Krunch is bold, fresh, and unlike anything in the market today. It reflects the adventurous spirit of modern Indian consumers inspired by global trends.”

Lotte will roll out a high-energy, digital-first campaign under the “Taste the 4D” theme across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, backed by outdoor promotions in Gujarat’s top cities — Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, and Vadodara.

With Krunch, the Korean Wave isn’t just on screens anymore — it’s now in India’s ice cream freezers.
