Premium Ice Cream Brand Call Me Chunky Expands Footprint as Quick Commerce Demand Surges

New-age ice cream brand Call Me Chunky has expanded its presence into three major Indian markets — Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad — as part of its aggressive growth strategy targeting high-demand urban consumers.

The brand is now available across leading quick commerce and e-commerce platforms, including Instamart, Zepto, BigBasket Now, Blinkit, and Amazon Now, depending on the city. In Delhi NCR and Hyderabad, the product is widely listed across multiple platforms, while in Ahmedabad it is currently available via Zepto and BigBasket Now.

According to the company, the expansion is aimed at tapping into rapidly growing urban consumption hubs where demand for premium and innovative ice cream products is rising.

“India’s ice cream industry is at a defining inflection point, with the market valued at ₹268 billion in 2024 and projected to grow at a CAGR of 16.7% to cross ₹1,078 billion by 2033,” said Ashish Tendulkar, Chief Operating Officer of Call Me Chunky.

He added that growth is being driven by rising disposable incomes and a shift toward premium, experience-led indulgence, positioning ice cream as an everyday luxury for modern consumers.

“Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad offer the ideal landscape for our expansion — cities with a discerning audience that values quality, experience and flavour innovation. By leveraging leading digital marketplaces, we are accelerating our regional presence with speed and precision,” he said.

The company’s expansion reflects a broader industry trend of ice cream brands increasingly relying on quick commerce platforms to reach consumers faster and scale in metro and emerging urban markets.
