Baskin Robbins India is stepping into new dessert territory with the launch of its New York Loaded Waffles range, its first move into the waffle category and a sign that the brand wants to be more than just an ice cream destination.
The waffles are available at more than 1,150 parlours across over 320 cities, with prices starting at ₹150 plus GST. For those who prefer to indulge at home, the range can also be ordered through Swiggy and Zomato.
The range comes in four waffle sandwich variants: Blueberry ‘N White Chocolate, Brownie ‘N Nutella Choco Chip, Cheesecake & Lotus Biscoff Crumble, and Chocolate Overload. Each one pairs an ingredient-loaded waffle base with spreads, sauces and toppings. Customers who want to go a step further can add selected Baskin Robbins ice creams and gelatos to the mix.
The company said the launch is part of a broader plan to offer more dessert formats and create new occasions for people to enjoy sweet treats. By blending waffle-based desserts with its existing ice cream portfolio, the brand hopes to give regular customers something fresh while drawing in new ones.
Mohit Khattar, CEO of Graviss Foods, which runs Baskin Robbins in India, said the launch reflects the company’s focus on product innovation and on giving consumers a wider choice of desserts.
Baskin Robbins first came to India in 1993 through a joint venture with the Graviss Group. Today it operates a parlour network across the country and reaches customers through retail outlets, hospitality partners and food delivery platforms. Graviss also exports Baskin Robbins products to other South Asian markets, including Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
