Amul Renews Tie-Up with Argentina Football Team Ahead of World Cup 2026

India’s dairy giant Amul has renewed its partnership with the Argentina Football Association (AFA) as the Official Regional Sponsor for another season, extending the association into its fourth consecutive year.

The extension, confirmed on Wednesday, will cover the period leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026. Amul became the first-ever Indian regional sponsor in the history of Argentine football when it entered into the partnership in 2022.

AFA President Claudio Fabian Tapia welcomed the continued collaboration, calling it a symbol of the team’s growing connection with India. “With great enthusiasm we announce the extension of Amul, a historic Indian company and our first regional sponsor in India. Their confidence reflects the growth and passion of our team in the country,” he said.

Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of Amul, said the brand is proud to maintain its association with the FIFA World Cup 2022 champions. “Just like football, Amul connects hearts across borders. This collaboration celebrates the shared energy that drives both sport and nutrition, as milk—the world’s original energy drink—continues to fuel champions and dreams across generations,” he said.

The renewed sponsorship reinforces Amul’s growing presence in global sports marketing and strengthens cultural links between India and Argentina ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
