Banas Dairy, the largest dairy in Gujarat, is gearing up for significant expansion in the state with an investment of Rs. 2,100 crores. This exciting development was officially announced on Saturday in an official release. This substantial investment is not only a boost to the state’s economy but also promises to generate employment opportunities, with a projection of 1,094 new jobs.
The formalization of this commitment will occur through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat summit scheduled for January 10-12 next year. This summit, renowned for catalyzing investment in the state, is the perfect platform for such a significant agreement.
The preliminary announcement took place at a pre-Vibrant Gujarat summit held in Banaskantha, where the Chairman of Banas Dairy and Gujarat Assembly Speaker, Shankar Chaudhary, played a pivotal role in presenting this initiative.
In a broader context, the pre-Vibrant Gujarat summit saw 21 industrial units commit to the state’s growth by signing MoUs, pledging investments worth Rs. 383 crores. These investments collectively set the stage for a promising economic future in Gujarat.
