A Legacy of Rajasthan’s Flavours:
The Chittchore story begins with the Choudhary family’s roots in the illustrious Gharana of Bikaner, Rajasthan. This region has a storied history of crafting distinctive and delicious snacks, particularly the iconic Bhujia. Late Champalal Kandoi, a prominent figure in Sardarsahar and great grandfather of Shree Kailash Prasad Choudhary, hailed from this Gharana and laid the foundation for Chittchore’s future success, with his father Late Rameshwar Lal Choudhary (Kandoi) In those early days, packaging was a distant dream, but the passion for creating flavours that won hearts was already firmly rooted.
Spreading Love in Every Bite:
The name “Chittchore,” which translates to “Win One’s Heart,” embodies the company’s mission. The Visionary Journey:
Six decades ago, Late Rameshwar Lal Choudhary, with his son Kailash Prasad and ventured from Bikaner to Assam, carrying with him a vision to introduce the secret taste of Rajasthan’s spices to the north-western region of India. In a place where sweets and namkeen were virtually unknown, Choudhary family pioneered the introduction of these flavours. In 1986, Pramod Choudhary took the reins of the business, embarking on a journey marked by innovation and determination.
Innovating for Success:
In his quest to serve the best, Pramod Choudhary taken major steps to develop the company. Shree Kailash ji was key person for developing the unique spice formulation through extensive research and experience. This formulation has become a valuable asset, steering the business into new territories.
Despite initial skepticism, Chittchore persevered, eventually becoming a marketing pioneer in Northeast India. Today, with the dynamic contributions of Arvind Choudhary, the Joint Managing Director, and a strong brand, Chittchore is making its mark both domestically and internationally.
