Direct-to-consumer (D2C) food essentials brand Country Delight has introduced Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)-tested Farm Honey to its portfolio. The product, priced between ₹196 and ₹233 for a 450 ml pack, is available via the company’s app across 17 major Indian cities.
With India’s honey market valued at ₹25.2 billion in 2023 and projected to grow to over ₹48.6 billion by 2032, Country Delight aims to capitalize on the sector’s growth potential. The honey undergoes rigorous testing on 36 quality parameters, including checks for added sugars, antibiotics, and microbial compliance, meeting FSSAI standards for purity and safety.
Established in 2015 by Chakradhar Gade and Nitin Kaushal, Country Delight operates on a direct-to-home subscription model, delivering products such as dairy items, fruits, vegetables, and groceries.
The company, valued at $804 million as of July 2024, has raised $198 million over 19 funding rounds. In October 2024, it secured ₹200 crore in venture debt from Alteria Capital.
