Dairy company Akshayakalpa enters organic fruits and vegetables segment

Organic dairy products company Akshayakalpa Organic has entered the fruits and vegetables category, and in its first phase, it has launched the service in 50-plus towns and cities across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

The brand aims to expand its delivery offering across these states in phases.

Shashi Kumar, CEO and co-founder of Akshayakalpa Organic said, “Our consumers are well-read and are aware of the health benefits of organic eating; the introduction of Organic Greens for them was a significant decision. With the launch, we are aiming for a 15% addition to our revenue by FY 25”.

As per a report by Sheer Analytics and Insights, the Indian organic fruits and vegetables market is expected to reach USD 6.8 billion, growing at a CAGR of 19.1 percent between 2022 and 2032. Akshayakalpa started in 2010 as a dairy company selling organic milk. It has expanded its portfolio by introducing milk products including ghee, cheese, butter, paneer, curd, buttermilk, bread, honey, butter, coconut, and virgin coconut oil.
