Domino’s Pizza has announced a new partnership with Uber, enabling customers to conveniently order Domino’s products through Uber’s food delivery apps.
This collaboration has resulted in a positive market response, with Domino’s shares rising by 7% and Uber’s shares increasing by 2% during premarket trading. Under the agreement, customers can use the Uber Eats and Postmates apps to place their Domino’s orders, while Domino’s and its franchisees will handle the delivery process.
To combat rising input costs, Domino’s has implemented price adjustments on menu items and delivery fees. The company had previously cautioned about a slowdown in its delivery business due to customers opting for more affordable home-cooked meals amidst the challenges of a cost of living crisis.
