Elopak and GLS have formed a joint venture in which each company will hold 50% of the company.
GLS Elopak, a newly founded firm based in Gurugram, Haryana, India, wants to leverage on consumer demand in India.
The firm will manufacture and process fresh and aseptic packaging solutions to ensure that liquid food is safe and available to customers all around the world. With applications such as dairy, plant-based beverages, juice, water, and living liquids, the firm will cater to both fresh and aseptic markets.
As an alternative to plastic bottles, Elopak, a global producer of carton packaging and filling equipment, provides sustainable packaging alternatives. Elopak’s aims to develop worldwide and address the expanding demand for sustainable packaging solutions are aligned with the joint venture. Elopak has focused geographic expansion as one of its five main growth pillars.
GLS Elopak will be the only producer of fiber-based packaging for liquid food in the Haryana area, with its manufacturing hub in Rewari, Haryana, India, near to Delhi. Customers will be able to purchase Roll-Fed aseptic cartons under the brand “ALPAK” in a variety of sizes, as well as end-to-end service support. Pure-Pak fresh cartons, Pure-Pak aseptic cartons, and additional solutions will be introduced in the future.
