Family Values
Family values start with foundational work. The namkeen and mithai business was started by our third previous generation originally from Distt. Gujranwala Punjab, Pakistan migrated to India during partition. Initially, the family faced a lot of struggles. They came to Ramnagar district. Nainital.
After settling there, they started business again with a small shop in Ramnagar itself with the name of Kundan Misthan Bhandar.
Staying in a big family means we are a part of a joint family. In joint families, family values are the topmost ideologies that are being taught since childhood. And when these qualities are absorbed in oneself, responsibilities and other moral values urge to make that person hardworking and excel in performance.
The same family values have been etched on our personas and that has brought about success in our business and guided us to take it to greater heights.
In business, everyone shares a quantum of responsibilities according to his age and expertise. Each family member works according to his capability. Presently, we have four outlets and two are coming up. Thus we have two operational outlets in Ramnagar and two in Kashipur.
The Changing Perception of Younger Generation
Ongoing time speaks of youth as an innovator and game-changer. Considering the role of youth in the namkeen and mithai industry, it is their modern approach that is changing the methods of production, sales and packaging by automation and the latest technologies.
Today’s youth has brought about the whole new concepts of working and standardization in work and finished products. The business saw a new turn when the next-gen started with keeping newly qualified staff which really changed the way of thinking and changed the perception of our industry.
The Role of Modern technologies and Automation
It is becoming important nowadays to have updated technologies as the whole world is moving towards automation to reduce human errors. To keep up the pace with the contemporary world, we are coping up with time-set as we are also in the same stream. We are planning to centralize our factory to cope up with new coming outlets.
From pandemic, we have learned how to work remotely maintaining distancing, and to get into the production of packed food.
