India’s iconic traditional beverage, Goli Soda, now rebranded as Goli Pop Soda, is witnessing a surge in global demand across markets such as the US, UK, Europe, and the Gulf. The drink’s growing popularity is attributed to its innovative packaging and nostalgic appeal, enabling it to compete with established multinational brands.
The product’s international success is fueled by a strategic partnership with Fair Exports, ensuring its presence at Lulu Hypermarket, one of the Gulf region’s largest retail chains. According to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), this collaboration has facilitated consistent deliveries of Goli Pop Soda to global markets.
“This iconic beverage, once a household staple, is making a remarkable comeback on the global stage through innovative reinvention and strategic expansion,” APEDA stated. Successful trial shipments to the USA, UK, and Europe have further bolstered the drink’s growing reputation abroad.
The resurgence of Goli Pop Soda highlights India’s push to promote authentic, homegrown products on the global stage. The beverage’s distinctive packaging features a unique pop opener that recreates the signature fizzy burst, evoking fond memories for Indian consumers while captivating international buyers.
The strong demand underscores the potential for traditional Indian flavors to thrive in competitive global markets, opening new avenues for domestic exports.
