Mars Wrigley India has announced the appointment of Nikhil Rao as its new Chief Marketing Officer. With an impressive career spanning 25 years, Rao brings a wealth of experience to his new role, where he will be responsible for overseeing the marketing vision, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of Mars Wrigley’s portfolio strategy in India.

Based at the corporate office in Gurgaon, Nikhil Rao will report directly to Tamer Kadry, the Country General Manager at Mars Wrigley India. This strategic move by the chocolate and confectionary unit of Mars Incorporated is aimed at reinforcing its market presence and continuing its commitment to innovation in the dynamic landscape of consumer trends and competition.

Nikhil Rao joins Mars Wrigley India from Mondelez, where he held the position of Vice President-Marketing for Mondelez Southeast Asia. As an alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta, Rao’s diverse experience includes working in global, regional, and local capacities in sales and marketing for renowned companies such as Cadbury, Kraft, and Mondelez.
