Bengaluru-based ready-to-cook brand iD Fresh Food has elevated co-founders Jafar TK and Shamshudeen TK to its Board, strengthening its leadership structure as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and IPO readiness.

The move, announced on Tuesday, comes as the fresh food company sharpens its focus on scaling operations, enhancing governance standards and expanding across markets and categories in India and overseas.

P.C. Musthafa, Global CEO and Chairman of iD Fresh Food, said the elevation recognizes the duo’s contributions in building the company’s market presence and operational backbone since its inception. He noted that their experience would play a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term strategy while upholding its core values of freshness, quality and trust.

Jafar TK has been instrumental in driving the company’s sales expansion, strengthening distributor networks, deepening retail reach and building trade partnerships across regions. With his induction to the Board, he is expected to take on a more strategic role in steering business expansion and brand growth.

Shamshudeen TK, who has led the company’s manufacturing and plant operations, has played a key role in establishing process standardization and expanding production capacity to support growth. As a Board member, he will continue to focus on operational efficiency, quality benchmarks and scaling capabilities.
