ITC Limited has ventured into the dairy industry in Jharkhand. The announcement was made on Monday as the company introduced a range of dairy products under the brand name “Aashirvaad Svasti.” This development marks ITC’s continued diversification efforts in the Indian market.
The newly launched dairy products include milk, curd, paneer, lassi, and the popular “mishti doi” (sweet curd), catering to the diverse tastes and preferences of consumers in the state.
Sanjay Singal, the Chief Operating Officer of Dairy and Beverages at ITC, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion into Jharkhand. He stated that the company’s milk-based offerings have already established a strong brand presence in Bihar and West Bengal. He highlighted the innovative and differentiated nature of ITC’s dairy products, which have gained recognition and popularity in these two states within just five years.
Aashirvaad Svasti dairy products will be made available to consumers across Jharkhand through an extensive distribution network. These products will be accessible at over 2,000 general and modern trade outlets, ensuring widespread availability and convenience for consumers in the state.
