In a major move to bolster its presence in the organic food space, ITC Ltd has completed the 100% acquisition of Sresta Natural Bioproducts Pvt Ltd (SNBPL), the owner of the leading ’24 Mantra Organic’ brand. The all-cash deal, valued at ₹472.50 crore, was closed on June 13, 2025, and includes an upfront payment of ₹400 crore with a deferred consideration of up to ₹72.5 crore payable over the next 24 months.
Announcing the completion of the acquisition in a regulatory filing, ITC stated that the transaction is aligned with its strategy to build a future-ready portfolio and strengthen its footprint in the high-growth organic food market, both in India and internationally.
Founded in 2004, SNBPL offers a portfolio of over 100 organic products, including staples, spices, edible oils, and beverages. The company has built a robust network of 27,500 organic farmers and 1.4 lakh acres of certified land across 71 clusters in 10 Indian states. It also has a strong global presence through its subsidiaries, Fyve Elements LLC (USA) and Sresta Global FZE (UAE).
SNBPL reported revenues of ₹306.1 crore in FY 2023-24. ITC believes the acquisition positions it well to tap into rising consumer demand for organic and sustainable food products, driven by increasing health awareness, growing incomes, and digital retail channels.
With this acquisition, ITC significantly expands its presence in the organic packaged foods sector, tapping into a growing global movement toward clean-label and environmentally responsible food choices.
