Nestlé, after the success of its Melbourne store, is inaugurating a KitKat Chocolatory in Sydney coming July. The KitKat Chocolatory that makes handcrafted premium KitKat bars, is currently under construction and is all set to open on 6th July 2020, Monday at The Mid-City Sydney.
The attraction that this chocolate bar holds is the visitors are invited to design their own KitKat bar, explore exclusive creations and dine at the in-house chocolate café at luxury.
“Discover KitKat like never before – immerse yourself in a delectable experience, perfect for the ultimate break,” reads a promo.
Housed at the former Trenery store at Pitt Street, the store will remain open seven days a week and is set to gather benefit from the high level of shoppers in the shopping district.
Head chocolatier Connie Yuen said that the Chocolatory is bigger and better than the Melbourne store and will offer Sydneysiders “a break like never before”.
“We have ‘Create your Break’ where you can customize your own break, we have exciting new flavours, new packaging and we’re also introducing a chocolate coffee bar,” Yuen said.
The boutique store is also said to offer a trail or a Tasting Table serving premium desserts which is the winning point of the KitKat bar in variant forms.
Nestle has hired a whole lot of new staff including chocolatiers and baristas for the premium cafe.
“The chocolatiers creating those desserts are all trained pastry chefs,” Yuen said.
These chocolatiers have all taken part in extensive and rigorous training with KitKat ahead of the inaugural to display the product through a variety of flavours, texture and forms.
“We will be exploring churros, pistachios, melon, and the Tasting Table will feature exciting flavours such as yuzu and matcha,” Yuen said.
“We definitely want to bring that premium experience to our customers.”
There will also be a selection of special gift products and unique flavours available for sale ath the store.
