Coca-Cola India’s iconic lemon-lime beverage, Limca, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing ₹2,800 crore in revenue for 2024. This record performance highlights the brand’s strong presence and growing influence in India’s sparkling beverage segment, especially across both urban and rural markets.
Founded in 1971, Limca has long been a summer staple for Indian consumers, known for its cloudy fizz and signature Lime ‘n’ Lemoni taste. Over the years, the brand has successfully adapted to changing consumer preferences while maintaining its nostalgic appeal. Today, Limca is experiencing robust double-digit growth in key states such as Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana, gaining market share across traditional and modern retail channels.
Limca’s impressive performance in 2024 is the result of strategic innovations and brand reinvention. In a bid to reconnect with younger audiences, Limca launched a new advertising campaign in 2025 featuring popular Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri, encouraging consumers to rediscover the brand’s refreshing charm.
Additionally, Limca expanded into the advanced hydration category with the launch of Limca GlucoCharge, a functional beverage enriched with glucose and electrolytes. This new product caters to active consumers and was promoted through a high-impact campaign featuring Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra.
Vinay Nair, Vice President, Franchise Operations, Developing Markets, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, highlighted the brand’s holistic growth strategy.
“Our goal has always been to build brands that go beyond the product—brands that become part of daily life and collective memory,” said Nair. “Limca’s journey is one of resilience, reinvention, and a pursuit of excellence. Our success lies in innovating to meet evolving consumer needs, expanding distribution across India, and executing marketing campaigns that combine passion with purpose.”
Beyond the bottle, Limca continues to celebrate Indian excellence through its long-standing initiative, the Limca Book of Records, which honors extraordinary feats by Indians across diverse fields. The brand’s commitment to championing national pride has further deepened its emotional resonance with consumers.
As Coca-Cola India strengthens its sparkling beverage portfolio, Limca remains a cornerstone of this growth—fusing nostalgia with innovation and proving that even legacy brands can remain at the forefront of modern consumer trends.
