Nestle India announced a significant leadership transition on Monday, confirming that Manish Tiwary will become the new managing director starting August 1, 2025. He will succeed Suresh Narayanan, who will retire as Chairman and Managing Director in July 2025 after an impressive 26-year tenure.
Tiwary, currently the Country Manager of Amazon India, has extensive experience in e-commerce and consumer goods, with nearly three decades in the industry. He has also served as a director at Amazon Digital Services and More Consumer Brand. Tiwary will resign from his directorship on October 30, 2024, to focus on his new role.
The recommendations for Tiwary’s appointment were made by Nestle’s Swiss parent company, Nestle SA, and are pending necessary approvals from relevant authorities.
Suresh Narayanan, who has been the head of Nestle India for over two decades, has played a crucial role in the company’s growth and transformation during his tenure. Under his leadership, Nestle India has expanded its product offerings and strengthened its market position.
