Meat and seafood retailer Fipola is expanding in south India and is entering Karnataka with 26 retail outlets in Bengaluru by March 2022. The Chennai-based brand operates 48 stores in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, including 10 in Bengaluru, and has plans to have 100 plus stores by the end of March 2022.
Its founder, Sushil Kanugolu, said that this year they will complete five plus years of operating and managing 48 retail stores till date in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vellore, Puducherry, and Bengaluru. We now have plans for a large expansion across India.
Fipola is in talks with venture capital firms to fund expansion and plans to have 250 outlets across India by 2023, “chief operating officer Sanjoy Kumar Das said. The company, he added, has targeted Rs 140 crore in revenues by the end of the current financial year, he added.
