Nandini Sweets Cross 1,100 Metric Tonnes in Festive Sales, Earning ₹46 Crore for KMF

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has recorded a remarkable performance this festive season, with its Nandini sweets brand surpassing sales of 1,100 metric tonnes and generating ₹46 crore in revenue during the Dasara and Deepavali festivals, according to a PTI report.

This achievement marks a 38% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, when KMF sold 725 metric tonnes of sweets worth ₹33.48 crore. The federation had set a sales target of 1,000 metric tonnes for 2025, which it has exceeded comfortably.

KMF attributed the growth to detailed pre-festival planning, improved coordination with member milk unions, and assured product availability across markets during the high-demand season. The federation said the milestone reflects consumer trust in the purity, quality, and taste of Nandini products and stands as a testament to the dedication of Karnataka’s dairy farmers.

As one of India’s largest dairy cooperatives, KMF collects nearly 1 crore liters of milk daily from farmers across the state. About 65 lakh liters are marketed each day as milk, curd, and UHT milk in Karnataka and other states. Under the Nandini brand, KMF offers over 175 dairy-based products, including ghee, paneer, sweets, and beverages, which are popular not only in Karnataka but also in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and select international markets.
