Naturals Ice Cream Targets ₹500 Crore Revenue by FY27; Plans 200 Stores by 2025

Mumbai-based Naturals Ice Cream, a leading player in India’s ice cream market, has outlined an ambitious growth strategy to expand its footprint and enhance revenue. The brand, owned by Kamaths Ourtimes Ice Creams, aims to operate over 200 outlets by the end of 2025 and achieve ₹500 crore in revenue by FY27.

Currently operating more than 170 outlets across 15 states, Naturals Ice Cream plans to add 30 new stores in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, with Chennai and Lucknow among the confirmed locations. The company is also considering further expansion into adjoining tier-2 cities to bolster its presence.

The brand’s growth strategy for 2025 emphasizes its focus on product innovation, retail expansion, and strategic promotions. Efforts to scale production capacity are underway, alongside plans to introduce new regional fruit-based flavors, such as kubani ice cream in Hyderabad and jackfruit ice cream in the Konkan region, to strengthen local market connections.

In a move to modernize its retail experience, Naturals has started revamping its parlors, prioritizing improved ambiance, branding, and customer service. This initiative will roll out first in Chennai before being extended nationwide.

Automation is another area of focus, with the introduction of ice cream vending machines at select locations. These machines aim to provide 24/7 availability, reduce crowding during peak hours, and cater to consumer demand during non-operational hours.

To support its growth objectives, Naturals is investing in its supply chain and exploring digital commerce opportunities, including partnerships with quick commerce platforms and the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). The company is also leveraging existing food aggregator platforms to drive year-on-year growth.

Naturals Ice Cream has experienced significant revenue recovery since the pandemic, bouncing back from ₹93.14 crore in FY21 to ₹294.02 crore in FY24. The brand expects 20% overall growth and a 15% year-on-year same-store sales growth in 2025 as it scales operations and adds new outlets.

Founded in 1984 by Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath, Naturals is celebrated for its innovative use of real fruit pulp in its flavors. The brand pioneered unique offerings such as sitaphal, tender coconut, and kala jamun ice creams, and it continues to rely on word-of-mouth marketing with minimal advertising expenditure.
