OYO Forays into F&B with In-House Kitchens and QSR Carts Across Hotels

Global hospitality Technology Company OYO has announced its formal entry into the food and beverage (F&B) sector with the launch of in-house kitchens and quick service restaurant (QSR) carts, starting with its Townhouse by OYO-branded hotels. The move is aimed at enhancing the in-hotel dining experience for guests by offering fresh, ready-to-eat meals and snack options.

According to an official release, a pilot program was initiated in January 2025 across 100 company-serviced hotels in cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Encouraged by the response, OYO plans to scale the initiative to cover 1,500 company-serviced hotels across India in FY26.

The kitchens, tailored to the infrastructure of each property, will range from full-fledged commercial setups for an elaborate menu to pantry-style configurations offering essential food items. Guests will be able to order food seamlessly through the OYO app and various online travel platforms by selecting the “Kitchen Services” option.

In addition to in-house kitchens, the company will also roll out QSR carts and lobby stores under the brand name ‘Townhouse Café’. These will provide affordable and convenient food options designed to meet diverse customer needs, from snacking to midnight meals, without the wait associated with traditional restaurants. The menu will feature a mix of regional Indian and continental cuisine.

Varun Jain, Chief Operating Officer at OYO, emphasized the initiative’s guest-centric focus, stating, “This move is based on strong consumer feedback asking for in-room dining options. Our goal is to elevate the overall guest experience while also creating a new revenue stream for our hotel partners.” He added that the company is building a network of F&B professionals in key cities,s including Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Indore, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Lucknow to support the rollout.

OYO anticipates the F&B vertical to contribute an additional 5–10% to hotel-level revenue once the program reaches stable operations.
