To further enhance long term growth in sales to gauge their beverage business, Parle Agro is trying many e-commerce platforms to create constructive business opportunities for Parle itself and for its partners. To get going, Parle is working together with e-commerce players pan India.
Parle Agro is a forerunner in the Indian beverage industry. At present, the beverages segment sums up a low single-digit number growth towards the overall e-commerce business. Parle Agro aims to help increase the contribution of beverages to the overall e-commerce business from the current minor share to a 15% contribution. The Company also has plans to launch special SKUs and brands for this segment to cater to distinctive consumer needs. While strengthening its own leadership in the beverages category, Parle Agro will extend all its help to e-commerce platforms capitalize on the beverage business. Parle Agro has partnered with leading e-commerce platforms like BigBasket, Grofers, Milk Basket, Flipkart supermarket and Swiggy. Tie-ups with Amazon, Zomato, Super Daily and Grocio to name a few, are in the process.
