Pepsi unveiled a new cola with the flavour ‘Annabi Grape’ to commemorate the collaboration.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and PepsiCo, the region’s leading food and beverage business, have announced a new agreement in which PepsiCo will serve as the Official Beverage Partner of both the Qatar National Football team and the Qatar National Under-23 Football team.
PepsiCo’s brands, Aquafina and Gatorade, will support players every day as the Official Beverage Partner, offering them with refreshing beverages to sustain performance and promote recovery, both on and off the field.
“We are happy to work with PepsiCo as part of a multi-faceted collaboration that will unlock hydration solutions for our squad and provide a new level of fan engagement to the Qatar community,” said Qatar Football Association General Secretary Mansoor Al Ansari.
Gatorade, the world’s number one sports drink, will provide athletes with access to its premier collection of sports fuel products, as well as its mineral water brand Aquafina.
“With our agreement with the Qatar Football Association, we are able to elevate PepsiCo’s long-standing engagement with great football to a new level,” said Aamer Sheikh, CEO of PepsiCo Middle East.

Pepsi also released a limited-edition Pepsi Annabi grape cola to commemorate the cooperation. The new drink, in the Qatar team’s colours, taps into the adrenaline of the sport, the loyalty of QFA supporters, and the monumental grandeur of the game, delivering customers an exciting rush of grape flavour with a sweet, crisp taste.
The company also presented a catchy spin on the QFA festive Annabi song as part of the campaign, symbolising the region’s unique and rich culture and asking everyone to cheer on with local pride.
With its refreshing beverages and flavour-packed snacks, PepsiCo has developed a heritage of celebrating sports throughout the area and beyond.
Pepsi will also reveal other football-themed events, including Qatari footballers featuring in a Pepsi Annabi video, as part of its long-standing commitment to connecting people from all over the world via their passion for football.
