Portugal’s Premium Olive Oil Brand Coração do Vale Makes India Debut at World Food India 2025

Portugal’s premium extra virgin olive oil brand Coração do Vale has officially entered the Indian market, launched by Leads Brand Connect at World Food India 2025 in the presence of Chirag Paswan, Minister of Food Processing Industries.

The brand is being imported through a partnership with Portuguese producer Lagar do Vale. As part of its entry strategy, the company will ship one 1,000-case container per month, with around 12 containers expected over the next year.

Initially available via pre-orders on the brand’s website, Coração do Vale will soon expand into luxury retail stores across India. “We are introducing Coração do Vale at a time when India gets into the festive mode,” said Richa Khandelwal, Managing Director, Leads Brand Connect.

João Carvalhal, MD of Lagar do Vale, added, “Our partnership with Leads Brand Connect is a win-win proposition. We are bringing a premium product to India, and they have always wanted such a brand in their portfolio.”

Made from premium Portuguese olive varieties, including Arbequina, Arbosana, Cobrançosa, Picual, Cordovil, Verdeal, and Galega, the brand also plans to launch infused oils such as truffle and garlic in the Indian market in the near future.
