Rage Coffee, a direct-to-consumer (DTC) coffee brand is a homegrown FMCG company and it manufactures and distributes ready-to-mix small batch or craft coffee products.

Bharat Sethi, founder of Rage Coffee launched the coffee brand when he found that the category remained underserved and under-penetrated online.

Currently, Rage Coffee products are retailed through online platforms and about 500 touch points offline through a network of distributors.

Rage coffee has raised undisclosed growth capital from GetVantage, a revenue-based investor for ecommerce companies without founders having to dilute equity. The new infusion of funds will be used by the two-year-old Delhi-based coffee brand to expand distribution and achieve five-fold sales growth by the end of 2021.

“We are always on the lookout for investors who understand the impact of our disruption in the large market we are operating in. GetVantage team is catering to founders like me who want to build large mainstream brands but yet not lose valuable equity over time as they have a non-dilutive financing model that puts revenue first,” said Bharat Sethi.

Financial advisory firm Avendus Capital has estimated that , DTC brands could look at a USD 100 billion addressable consumer opportunity in India by 2025.
