World Mishti & Namkeen Convention-Expo 2023 Unveils Sweet and Savory Delights in Kolkata

In an illustrious ceremony inaugurated by Dr. Shashi Panja, Cabinet Minister for Industries, Commerce & Enterprises, West Bengal, the World Mithai & Namkeen Convention-Expo 2023 (WMNC) kicked off today at Biswa Bangla Prangan in Kolkata. In collaboration with Mishti Udyog and DCSSTR, this three-day extravaganza, running from December 17 to 19, 2023, showcases the vibrancy of the mithai, namkeen, and snacks industry. With an impressive lineup of 300 stalls and an expected footfall of over 30,000 visitors, the event has garnered support from industry leaders like Bikaji, Haldiram’s, Bikano, and others, solidifying its status as a pivotal platform for global trends and innovations.

Dignitaries present at the ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony included Dr. Shashi Panja,Cabinet Minister for Industries, Commerce & Enterprises, Shri Biman Banerjee (Speaker), Shri Shuvaprasanna, Renowned Artisit, Dhiman Das President of Mishti Udyog, Nilanjan Ghosh, General Secretary, Mishti Udyog, Arup Kr. Das, Tresurer Mishti Udyog, Saikat Paul, Jt. Secretert Mishti udyog, Shivkishan Agarwal, Shivratan Agarwal, Manohrlal Agarwal, Madhusudan Agarwal, and Shri. Pranab Chandra .
