Dr. Mukul Sain from the Department of Dairy Engineering, College of Dairy Science and Technology (CDST), RAJUVAS, has successfully filed three patents and one copyright. These intellectual property filings were made under RAJUVAS, with the support of Dean Prof. R.S. Pal and the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Manoj Dixit, who are listed as co-inventors on all four IP protections. In one of the patents, Dr. Hemant Dadhich & Dr. Manisha Mathur (Former Dean, CDST), and Yash Panwar, a student, are also recognized as co-inventors.
These works are related to synbiotic dairy-based beverages and sustainable milk processing technologies, which have the potential to significantly expand the scope of dairy processing and strengthen the milk market. These innovations will not only add value to milk and dairy products but also provide consumers with healthier options while ensuring efficient processing methods.
The work was carried out under the Experiential Learning Program (ELP), during which the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Manoj Dixit, personally monitored the progress and made regular visits to the workplace. His guidance, suggestions, and motivation played a crucial role in the successful completion of this project.
Dr. Mukul Sain, who is actively engaged in pioneering research on value-added products, innovative dairy processing systems, and sustainable technologies, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the students and staff members whose dedicated efforts contributed to the completion of this work.
