PepsiCo India has expanded its presence in the country’s rapidly growing energy drinks market with the launch of Adrenaline Rush, a new premium energy drink aimed at Gen-Z consumers and young professionals.
With this launch, PepsiCo now offers energy drinks across a broader price range. While its popular brand Sting continues to cater to value-conscious consumers at ₹20, Adrenaline Rush is positioned at ₹60, targeting consumers looking for a more premium and lifestyle-oriented energy drink experience.
The new brand will be available in two variants—Passion Rush and Classic Rush—and comes in sleek premium cans designed to appeal to younger consumers. The company says the addition strengthens its portfolio by offering consumers more choice across different taste preferences and consumption occasions.
Commenting on the launch, Nitin Bhandari, Vice President and General Manager – Beverages, PepsiCo India and South Asia, said the energy drinks category in India continues to grow strongly, driven by changing lifestyles and rising demand for functional beverages. He noted that Adrenaline Rush has been developed as a globally aspirational brand tailored to the preferences and ambitions of India’s youth.
To support the rollout, PepsiCo has launched a digital-first campaign under the tagline “A-Rush, A-Game On.” The campaign focuses on creator-led content, social media engagement, and internet culture to build connections with Gen-Z consumers and position the brand around themes of energy, performance, and ambition.
The launch comes as India’s energy drinks market continues to expand, supported by urbanisation, rising disposable incomes, and growing demand for convenient energy-boosting beverages among students and working professionals.
By adding a premium offering alongside Sting, PepsiCo is strengthening its position in the category and seeking to capture consumers across both value and premium segments. The company is betting on premiumisation and evolving consumer preferences to drive the next phase of growth in India’s energy drinks market.
