The Indian Railway Board has taken this initiative of the New, Innovative Non Fare Revenue Ideas Scheme (NINFRIS) to promote new ideas and concepts related to passengers’ convenience and enhancing non-fare revenue policy of the network.
In the meantime, various other projects are underway pertaining to the non-fare revenue scheme that have been accepted by Indian Railways zones and await an early start.
