Aptagrow is the latest addition to Danone India’s nutrition portfolio

Danone India has joined the 650-crore health drink industry for children in India with the introduction of AptaGrow.

Danone India joined the health drink sector for children with the launch of AptaGrow, as part of its commitment to promote health to as many people as possible via food.

The product will be offered in two flavours, delectable chocolate and vanilla, and will fulfil the nutritional needs of youngsters aged 3-6 years. AptaGrow is a scientifically formulated health drink for children that contains 37 nutrients, including a special combination of prebiotics and DHA for children’s physical and cognitive development. Its special nutri-absorb composition promotes improved absorption of vital nutrients, resulting in faster development.

Young children in India have the combined burden of malnutrition and overnutrition, posing critical growth difficulties. According to a recent Momspresso poll of 1,200 urban moms, 80 percent of women were concerned about their kid’s growth, while 69 percent thought their child was not developing up to their expectations. Poor nutrition absorption, according to 73% of moms, leads to poor development. The study found that the top three concerns were height, muscular growth, and cognitive development.

AptaGrow is specifically designed to suit the nutritional requirements of developing Indian youngsters. It includes 100% milk protein and calcium to aid in height increase, prebiotics and vitamins A, C, and D to aid in immunological health, and DHA, iron, folic acid, and iodine to aid in brain development. This low-fat drink promotes healthy growth in children, making it the ideal choice for this delectable chocolate-vanilla-flavored nutritional health drink.

Himanshu Bakshi, Managing Director of Danone India, stated during the inauguration, “Danone’s mission is to develop and provide goods and services that satisfy the nutritional requirements and aspirations of customers at all stages of life. With this launch, we hope to encourage good eating and drinking habits from a young age, as these are the foundation years that contribute to health later in life. AptaGrow is scientifically formulated to suit the nutritional demands of growing children and alleviate mothers’ worries about their children’s nutritional intake.”

Danone India has joined the Rs. 650 crore health drink industry for children in India with the introduction of AptaGrow. AptaGrow will be accessible in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and West Bengal in a 400g pack size through large modern trade stores, local stores, pharmacies, and e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Big Basket, PharmEasy, and others.
