Coca-Cola India bottling partner SLMG Beverages opens a new facility in Amethi

SLMG Beverages, a bottling partner of Coca-Cola in India, has opened a new factory in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. They plan to invest Rs. 700 crores in this facility. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister Smriti Irani were present at the inauguration.

This new factory will create jobs for about 650 people directly and 2,000 people indirectly in the local area. The facility has six production lines for making sparkling drinks, juices, and water with environmentally friendly packaging.

Currently, SLMG Beverages operates seven plants in Uttar Pradesh and bottles over 4 crore bottles each day. This new plant in Trishundi will help meet the demand for Coca-Cola products in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. It also produces a special small sparkling pack with 35% less plastic.

SLMG Beverages aims to continue the legacy of Coca-Cola in India and expand its reach among consumers in the region.

Coca-Cola India has 13 bottling partners in India, with around 40 bottling plants in the country. They also have their own bottling company called Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Ltd., which produces more than half of Coca-Cola’s products in India.

India is the fifth-largest market for Coca-Cola.
