Hatsun Agro Products is expanding globally to boost  ice cream business

Hatsun Agro Products, a leading dairy and dairy products manufacturer, has unveiled its strategic initiative to enhance its presence in international markets for its popular range of ice cream products. The company, renowned for its diverse offerings, which encompass milk under the popular Arokya brand as well as chocolates, cakes, and ice creams under the ‘Ibaco’ brand, is set to amplify its global outreach.

“Ibaco,” a cherished ice cream brand, has emerged as a favourite among consumers. Bolstered by an overwhelmingly positive response from customers, the company has introduced numerous parlours, novel product variations, and enticing flavours, as highlighted in its latest annual report. The brand is committed to continuously introducing fresh product experiences, fostering anticipation among its loyal patrons.

Reiterating the brand’s trajectory, the ice cream market in India was valued at Rs 194.1 billion in 2022, with experts projecting a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17.5 per cent from 2023 to 2028. Demonstrating its international focus, the company successfully launched its Arun Ice Cream range in export markets like Singapore and the Maldives during the year. The resounding initial reception has prompted the company to expand distribution and enrich its product portfolio further. Arun Ice Creams is striving to consolidate its presence in the Seychelles, intensifying its marketing endeavours.

With an eye on global exploration, the company is poised to tap into untapped markets in the United States, Africa, and the Gulf regions. Adding to its innovation line-up, the company introduced the ‘Licks’ ice cream range, a series of fruit-infused ice lollies suited for year-round consumption, especially during the summer. Notably, new additions include ice cream shakes in flavours such as chocolate, strawberry, and cotton candy. Under the ‘Ibaco’ umbrella, the brand is unveiling an array of desserts, encompassing cheesecake, pop tarts, and muffins, enabling customers to personalize their ice cream experience.

Leveraging expansive cold storage facilities in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, including the sizable Govindapur plant, which stands as Asia’s largest ice cream production centre, Hatsun Agro Products is well-prepared to meet the surging demand for ice cream, particularly during the peak summer season. As the company embarks on this global journey, it remains dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and taste to ice cream enthusiasts worldwide.
