Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCB) has commissioned a first-of-its-kind high-speed production line for its packaged drinking water brand Kinley at its state-of-the-art Avinya facility in Telangana, setting a new benchmark in beverage manufacturing efficiency.
Located at Banda Thimmapur in Siddipet district, the Avinya (Telangana Greenfield Factory) plant is spread across 49 acres and involves a planned investment of over ₹2,000 crore. The facility currently houses seven advanced production lines, strengthening HCCB’s manufacturing footprint in southern India.
The newly launched Kinley line is now the fastest within the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia (INSWA) system in terms of bottles per minute (BPM). It can produce 500 ml PET bottles at a speed of up to 1,350 BPM and 1-litre PET bottles at 1,000 BPM, positioning it among the most advanced packaged drinking water lines in the country.
Built on an integrated automation framework, the line enhances operational visibility, precision, and consistency across production cycles. It features a state-of-the-art water purification system with mineral injection and ozonization technology to ensure stringent quality standards.
The facility also incorporates advanced lamella pack technology, enabling up to 90% water recovery, underlining HCCB’s focus on sustainable resource management. An integrated Human–Machine Interface (HMI) allows centralized monitoring, improving process control and operational reliability.
Additionally, the line is equipped with an advanced dosing system to enhance packaging stability and maintain product integrity. Energy-efficient systems with real-time monitoring further optimise performance by reducing downtime and enabling faster changeovers, improving responsiveness to market demand.
