Heritage Foods’ board of directors has approved the company’s development into non-dairy premium nutrition.

Heritage Foods Ltd., one of India’s largest private dairy companies, said that its board of directors authorised the company’s projected expansion into non-dairy food items in the premium nutrition market during a recent meeting.

“Heritage Foods has been delivering ‘Nutrition to Nation’ through its dairy products,” stated Srideep Kesavan, chief executive officer of Heritage Foods Limited. In the premium nutrition area, the business plans to expand the same principle to non-dairy food products.

Heritage Foods’ excellent distribution network and brand confidence will be leveraged by these asset-light firms to become part of customers’ everyday healthy food choices.”

“Heritage Foods’ objective of delighting every family with fresh and nutritious goods while empowering farmers is aligned with the anticipated expansion into non-dairy food items in the premium nutrition market. This approach would not only boost Heritage Foods’ margins, but it will also de-seasonalise the company, assuring long-term value development. Furthermore, I am pleased to inform you that Heritage Foods has improved its financial sheet by being debt-free on November 1, 2021, following the redemption of the remaining loan of Rs. 210 million “Heritage Foods Limited executive director N. Brahmani added.
