ITC Fabelle Expands Premium Portfolio with Ghana-Origin 64% Dark Chocolate Range

ITC’s luxury chocolate brand Fabelle has introduced a new 64% dark chocolate range crafted with premium Ghana-origin cocoa. Known for its rich aroma and depth of flavour, Ghana cocoa forms the base of the range, which has been developed using precise cocoa sourcing, ultra-fine particle size technology and extended conching to enhance texture, mouthfeel and overall chocolate experience.

The launch comes at a time when dark chocolate is gaining wider acceptance among Indian consumers, moving beyond a niche category to become a preferred choice for those seeking refined indulgence. Fabelle’s new range includes dark chocolate bars and pralines designed to highlight the expressive character of cocoa while offering different flavour profiles.

The collection features Cranberry Noir, which pairs dark chocolate with the mild tartness of cranberry, and Orange Eclipse, which combines rich cocoa notes with a gentle citrus flavour. The No Added Sugar Dark Chocolate Bar has been created for consumers looking for a more intense cocoa experience without added sugar.

Adding to the portfolio is Dark Symphony, a box of 10 handcrafted pralines made with no added sugar. The pralines bring together a refined mix of almond, macadamia, pecan, hazelnut and pistachio, offering a premium dark chocolate experience with layered nutty notes.

Subash Balar, Business Head – Confectionery, Chocolates & Coffee, ITC Ltd, said that modern Indian consumers are rethinking indulgence and looking for transparency, balance and choice without compromising on experience. He added that dark chocolate has seen strong growth in India over the past five years, while demand for no-added-sugar options is also increasing.

With this launch, Fabelle aims to strengthen its position in India’s premium chocolate segment and contribute to a more evolved chocolate culture driven by fine cocoa, innovation and mindful indulgence.
