Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in as the brand ambassador for SALONI Mustard Oil, SALONI Soya Chunks and Stayfit Refined Oil by Mahesh Edible Oil Industries, signalling a major push toward national expansion and accelerated brand building.
The company has set an ambitious target of achieving 25 per cent year-on-year revenue growth in FY 2026–27. Its strategy includes entering new geographies, strengthening rural market penetration, and stepping up trade marketing and channel activation initiatives across the country.
Currently well established in North and Eastern India, Mahesh Edible Oil Industries is now focused on pan-India growth by onboarding super stockists, dealers and distributors to reinforce its distribution network. The company said its strong consumer acceptance and loyal customer base in core markets provide a solid platform for scaling operations nationally.
Dinesh Rathore, Managing Director, said the association with Kapoor reflects the company’s long-term vision of evolving from a regional player into a credible national brand in the edible oil segment.
The upcoming advertising campaign featuring Kapoor is expected to significantly enhance brand visibility, improve recall and deepen household penetration across both urban and rural markets. The company believes the actor’s wide appeal will strengthen its positioning in the premium and semi-premium categories.
In addition to edible oils, Mahesh Edible Oil Industries is expanding its footprint in the protein-rich soya chunks segment under the SALONI brand, in line with changing dietary preferences. Aditya Rathore, Category Head, said the segment is witnessing strong demand and will be scaled alongside the core edible oil portfolio through focused marketing and wider distribution.
Backed by modern manufacturing facilities, expanded production capacity and stringent quality standards, the company aims to sustain long-term growth while reinforcing consumer trust across India.
