“Rasoi ke Dhurandhar” was organized by Rajdhani Foods in collaboration with IBCA

Rajdhani Foods, best known for Rajdhani Besan, partnered with the Institute of Bakery and Culinary Arts (IBCA) to host “Rasoi ke Dhurandhar,” a culinary competition at Vikash Puri, New Delhi. The Rajdhani Foods-sponsored two-round competition brought together ordinary individuals with an uncommon love for cooking and provided them with a platform to push themselves and display their ability in front of a panel of seven culinary maestros, including MasterChef finalist Kamadeep Kaur.

Around 9.30 a.m., the registered participants presented their unique signature savoury dishes cooked at home in front of the jury, which consisted of seven renowned chefs from across the country who judged on execution, preparation, presentation, and, of course, taste. The final phase was a live cooking competition in which contestants had to produce a main course dish with “Rajdhani Besan” as the primary ingredient, as well as a rice dish, with the supervision and feedback of the culinary experts.

” Rajdhani Foods is extremely pleased to be a part of such an emulous yet ambitious competition,” said Mr. Chetan Jain, Director of Rajdhani Foods. We are very honoured that each participant utilized our signature product so creatively and professionally. This served as another reminder of the importance of such events in motivating young talent.” He went on to say, “Each participant was a winner in their own right.”

“In the heat of the moment, several contestants exceeded their own limits to present unconventional dishes with a simple ingredient like Rajdhani Besan,” stated Ms. Kamaldep Kaur, a MasterChef India 2023 finalist. “Many of the signature dishes of the participants were spellbinding and left all the judges in complete awe of the participant’s ability to use everyday ingredients with such novelty and fluency to produce delectable dishes,” she said. They certainly did not make it simple for us to make a decision.”

The winner of Rajdhani Besan’s ‘Rasoi ke Dhurandhar’ competition won a cash reward of Rs 5,100, while the first and second runners-up each received Rs 3100 and 2100, respectively. Overall, the event was a big success, allowing food artists to venture outside of their comfort zones and maintain their enthusiasm for cooking art. Rajdhani Besan is a trusted and high-quality product of Rajdhani Foods, which has been a household brand in India for five decades, alongside other high-quality Rajdhani products like sattu and chana dal.
