TCPL is all set for 4-digit sales from its beverage brand NourishCo in FY24

Tata Consumer Products (TCPL) anticipates that its non-carbonated beverage brand, NourishCo, will have four-digit sales in FY24, as NourishCo reported net sales of Rs 621 crore in FY23.

The brand’s sales in FY20 were Rs 180 crore. Tata Consumer has been gearing up NourishCo’s distribution and product portfolio, and it is now present in 6 lakh outlets, as per the investor presentation.

Sunil D’Souza, CEO and MD, TCPL, said that the FMCG giant is planning aggressive channel expansion over its existing 6 lakh outlets to maintain volume growth. “Earlier, we were present only in Tamil Nadu, Orissa, and Andhra Pradesh.

We spent FY21 stabilising the business, FY22 expanding across the east, and FY23 moving across the north and west,” said D’Souza.

Currently, the brand is present in 75 percent of the country. But NourishCo had started as a joint venture between Tata Consumer and PepsiCo in 2010. TCPL acquired PepsiCo’s stake in 2022 for Rs 130 million in a move to widen its portfolio in the food and beverage space. As per a note earlier this year by Motilal Oswal, since the acquisition, NourishCo has registered higher revenue growth of 38 percent during FY12–20.
