Vantara has entered the ice cream business with the launch of Vantara Creamery at Jio World Drive in Mumbai, marking the wildlife-focused initiative’s diversification into the food and beverage space.
The launch was unveiled through a campaign shared on Vantara’s official Instagram page, featuring an AI-generated promotional film in which a tiger is seen moving through the streets of Mumbai alongside a Vantara Creamery van. The campaign linked the new ice cream venture with the brand’s wildlife conservation identity.
In a separate social media post, Vantara Creamery announced a portfolio of 17 ice cream flavours, including Filter Coffee, Lemon Sorbet, Guava Chilli and Malai Kulfi. The company described the range as specially curated to cater to evolving consumer taste preferences.
Reliance Foundation launched Vantara in 2024 as a 3,500-acre animal rescue, rehabilitation and care project in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The initiative is spearheaded by Anant Ambani and focuses on wildlife rescue, treatment and conservation efforts.
The move into artisanal and experiential ice creams comes at a time when premium frozen dessert formats and experience-led food brands are witnessing growing traction among urban Indian consumers.
