Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan, visited Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today to assess the ongoing preparations for World Food India 2024, which will take place from September 19-22, 2024. Accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry, as well as representatives from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and Invest India, Shri Paswan inspected key areas such as exhibition halls and conference zones that will host the event.
Following the inspection, Shri Paswan chaired a meeting with officials and event organizers, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the preparations.
World Food India, organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, is a premier event aimed at showcasing innovations, technologies, and trends in the food processing industry. The event will feature knowledge sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, fostering global collaboration in the sector.
With state-of-the-art exhibition spaces, pavilions showcasing India’s diverse regional food offerings, and zones dedicated to startups and innovators, the event highlights India’s growing presence in the global food industry.
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries is actively coordinating with all States, Union Territories, and relevant ministries to ensure full participation, aiming to make World Food India 2024 a milestone event that positions India as a leading player in the global food sector.
