Beverage giants Parle Agro and Rasna Group anticipate robust double-digit growth this summer, driven by rising demand and festive season sales. The optimism was shared by Parle Agro CEO Schauna Chauhan and Rasna Group Chairman Piruz Khambatta at the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit (MP GIS) 2025.
Chauhan emphasized the role of summer and upcoming festivals such as Holi in boosting sales. “We’re all talking about the heat, but I see it as an opportunity. The festive season, coupled with rising temperatures, is expected to drive strong double-digit growth. We are hopeful for a highly positive season,” she said.
Investment in Madhya Pradesh
Parle Agro, which has been present in Madhya Pradesh for over 25 years, has invested between ₹650-700 crore in the state. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Mandideep, producing popular brands such as Frooti, Appy Fizz, and dairy products.
“Our high-tech dairy plant in Madhya Pradesh is a key part of our expansion strategy. We manufacture flavored milk and lassi, and we are looking to further expand our dairy portfolio here,” Chauhan added.
Rasna Prepares for Surging Demand
Rasna Group Chairman Piruz Khambatta also expressed confidence in the upcoming season, citing an early onset of summer. “We foresee strong business growth, targeting double-digit expansion. The combination of peak summer and festival-driven demand during Holi and Ramadan will bring substantial traction for our products,” he said.
Khambatta further revealed that Rasna is already experiencing stock shortages due to high demand and is exploring capacity expansions in states like Madhya Pradesh to address growing consumer needs.
With major beverage brands betting big on summer sales and regional expansion, the Indian beverage market is poised for substantial growth in the coming months.
