Fresh Produce India event goes online for the first time

The World has almost come to a standstill position and amidst of this scenario of COVID-19, India’s leading fresh produce conference event will now be held online as a series of five virtual sessions.

The Fresh Produce India conference and expo is an annual event which is scheduled to be hosted online for the first time, marking a first for the world of fresh produce conference events.

Fighting the global coronavirus crisis, is posing one major challenge for people across the international fresh produce business, Fresh Produce India organizer Asiafruit – part of Fruitnet Media International – has opted instead to relay and broadcast the event online for free on Thursday 23 April 2020.

“From our studios in London and Melbourne, Asiafruit’s Chris White and John Hey are hosting five sessions of quality insight and ideas for the future of the fresh produce business in India,” the group said in a statement.

 “They’ll be joined by speakers and expert panelists from India and the rest of the world to discuss the challenges that face India today.”
